Got my email about 24 hours after entering.

Do they really need to make us wait until October to find out?

Yes I'm becoming aware of this Sussex, new to this mysterious world.

gemgemx - I concur.

Got my confirmation number so don't suppose it really matters, just got the long wait till October now.

Entered at about 10.45, still no email 3 hours later.  My confirmation number is over 200,000, does that mean there were over 200,000 entries at that point?  The website is still saying entry is open, so it looks like the limit is way above 125,000.  Maybe it includes multiple entries that have been cancelled?

Guaranteed entry to the Bristol 10k!

This year's Bristol 10k takes place on Sunday 20 May and Sue Ryder have cheap Gold Bond places in the race. These places are available at just £15 each (compared to £23 to purchase your own place) and will guarantee you entry in the race. Anyone running with a Sue Ryder Gold Bond place is given a fundraising target of just £150.

The event itself is one of the most popular 10k runs in the country. It takes in the beautiful scenery of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Avon Gorge and Bristol's famous Harbourside. And it is a fast route with great potential for a strong finishing time.

If you are interested in running the Bristol 10k with a Sue Ryder place, please contact Chris on 0117 927 2927 or chris.andrews@sueryder.org. Places are limited so register your interest now!
