Even though you were trying to move away from a hydration bladder i would recommend Osprey Raptor 10 It has a 3L bladder and space for lightweight running jacket, 1st aid kit, wallet, keys etc but i have been known to use a smaller bladder and pack more gear if i need to. Plus the waist straps have small pockets to put things like gels or snacks in.
Im "6ft 1 and a smidge" and this is ver nice to run with, fits well
Oddly I was totally against supplements like that for a long time. But Myofusion works for me as a post weight workout drink. So I guess im drinking one cup of it once or twice a week. Would I crumple and die without it? No. Thanks for the heads up on the science/diet side of it though.
I do recommend the Zero-Highs for hydration, for any sport.
When it comes to food for climbing and trekking, its Chilli Beef Jerky all the way. Because dried animal corpse makes you a mountain conquering warrior! Thats Science FACT! Trust me, I have a beard.
I do a lot of running, swimming and climbing. I also include weights and power exercises in my weekly routine. The only shake I use is http://www.gasparinutrition.com/products/myofusion-probiotic/ after my mate and PT/Gym instructor recommended it to me. But I only take it straight after a weight or power session. Iv never used it after a run.
I haven't had this after running but I do a lot of high altitude trekking and climbing/mountaineering. I found I got something similar after wearing my boots for a over a week.
I changed to a better brand of sock with a inbuilt wicking liner. Maybe changing your socks to a full wicking set may help? Also my new boots have a B3 rating which means that its a fully stiffened boot which doesn't move or bend. Following that logic through, maybe you need a new shoe fitting?
I think it take about a full week/7days for the results to appear on the website. I didn't look to closely tbh, I was going to wait until Sunday evening/Monday morning. Do you know roughly what time you got?
