My training is eukk, Im running 2-3 miles 4 time a week and a long run/walk of 8 miles on a Sunday!
In my mind Im walk/running it (Im with you on this one Cas!), this has stopped my hitting the withdrawal button!
I dont know London at all, Im a country girl so can anyone reccommend a hotel, I think closer to the finish would suit me better, coming down from Scotland on the Friday afternoon and hoping to fly home on the Sunday night.
Well done Cas on the 5 miles, I feel so behind, not been out at all
My gran had her 3rd hip replacement a few weeks back and it never went to plan, she is now home but cant walk for 6 weeks and Im sharing her care with my mum. Training is a struggle. Ive signed up for the Santa Dash on the 17th so 3 miles it will be.
Im still on 1 mile and getting the fear that I have bitten of more than I can chew. Hopefully things will settle and I can get into a routine.
Anyone else scared of running alone on the dark nights?
Hello cascita and everyone, I got a place in the marathon too, now I'm over the shock I've started running. I'm 2 stone over weight after giving up the cigs, I'm running 1.5 miles at the moment 3 times a week with a few Pilates DVDs thrown in. Hopefully we can encourage each other
