Sorry for my absence over the past couple of weeks, lots of personal issues that needed to be addressed. Hopefully sorted now and a fairly normal service will resume.
Had another session with PT and foolishly said I wanted to be able to do chin ups - I dont think my arms and shoulders will ever be the same again! Only doing short half hour runs at the moment, just letting my body rest for a few weeks before I start HM training again

Mel - I normally go by my timings as we know when we cross the start and finish lines. Usually chip time is more or less the same all bar a few seconds
Did a circuit training session yesterday morning with the usual Monday night run with the Sweatshop guys - who really want me to do a 10k santa run with them, the half a km on the shingle beach really puts me off. Didnt do my achilles any good last year, so not going to bow to pressure on this one
