Rich 26, Not sure if you are being serious or not. Not wishing to get into an argument, but maybe all the hardcore runners should enter the less popular events. Why shouldn't less hardcore runners get the chance to run a marathon. You don't get any quicker if you don't do the distance and a race situation is a lot more motivational.
Kathy H, I'm following a 4h15m plan on Asics. Only 3 runs a week but I do other training too so hoping to be ok.
Rich26, Love the way you say jog round in under 4, some of us are just hoping to get somewhere near 4. Obviously you are a seasoned runner.
Miggito, sounds like you are at a similar stage to me, I did 6 miles Sunday (longest run so far this year) and also walked a little. Have had a chest cold though so I was really happy with 6, finally feel like I might be getting somewhere
Managed to grind out a not too bad 4.5miles last night, a bit slow but felt much better than my Sunday run. My cold seems to have almost cleared up now too so feeling much better all round. Might finish this marathon training after all, just need to catch up on the plan slowly.
Certainly needs an update, I was really disappointed when I first used my Garmin. The watch is great but the site leaves a lot to be desired. Was previously using Endomondo which in my opinion was much better.
