Sounds like it will be more mental than physical for some of it them Emma (or I hope anyway and that the injury plays ball!)
PBAB - Haha! I know what you mean! Tried out my new X-Bionic leg warmers on Sunday And spent the entire race pulling the buggers up. Got a fair few laughs along the way and a little chafing but hey it's part of the fun isn't it?
Good luck with the final prep and nerves before Edinburgh. Wish I was doing it too I've always fancied that one as I love the city so much. Sounds like we're all in the same boat then so I'll have a Google and see if I can find anything nearby to the Carlisle Travelodge that a few of us are staying in.
Wow that's some impressive running there Blakester nice one. Good stuff Runnin Man too some pretty impressive stuff all round! Glad to hear the injuries are getting better too. Richard yours will come right soon I'm sure. Scafell Pike Trail Marathon for me yesterday. By far the hardest thing I've ever done. 1900m of uphill including wrong turns with self nav in 10-20m visibility up sheer rock faces in points was really tough mentally with an immense fear of heights but that was part of the point in entering and pushing through to finish well in the top half which I never thought I could do to come home in a little over 6hrs. Tough but good. Five weeks! We'll have to start planning the Friday dinner. Does anyone know Carlisle? I've never been so can't offer any pearls I'm afraid.
