I've got a race on Sunday. It's only a 10k But i really want to smash the 50minute marker. I know pasta and chicken are my best friends they'd before, but ist here anything else I cn do now to store energy? I guess imjustgoingo drink nothing.but water and avoid fatty foods. I'm always rubbish when it comes to nutrition.
Well that's an easy way to carb load I guess. Fairy cakes and ham sandwiches what half you running? I'm in for the silver stone next year! Can't wait. Although I'm starting to think I've bitten off more than I can chew. ???? Should be fun.
My first 10k I did 1hr 7m. Next week I plan to do my second, and I'm hoping that I can smash the hour mark then. I won't be to beaten up by it if idiot, but I'm looking for a new pb!
The first one was so hard. Quite hilly so I was happy with that. I'm training for the London marathon so I'm trying to get as many small races in as I can before things get to serious. And I love collecting free t shirts
!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get this too! When I tell people they just think I'm a bit weird. I brought some good new shoes, but after about20 minutes it starts! Bloody thing does my head in. I try and land a bit differently and got new socks. But nothing. I just run through it now. But I don't get it all the time. I'm glad I'm not the only one that runs apwith a brick for a foot.
