Thanks M...eldy i love the term dreadmill, i might steal it  .... your probably right that explains it ... i guess i was in denial cause i liked my times on the eliptical machine I didnt want to think it a soft option lol ...

Hi Ye Olde Dragon  ... thats an interesting name too .... i thought the nickname box said full name instead and now it wont let me change it  ... i guess you're right slow n steady wins the race ...

Spence, Dr Daffs, M...eldy, DL, Yums ..... Thankyou for the wake up call

I thought i was being brave and enthusiastic, i didnt realise i was pushing towards martyrdom. I definitely will pull it back, i found a begginers program, couch to 5k kinda deal on here i might give that a go what do you guys think? ... i do desperately want to loose weight for the holiday (Thailand with the bf ) but i dont want to hobble around like an old lady as was said so ill just have to eat and excercise as well as i can and deal with what results i get.

Dr Daffs, what is this 30 day shred you speak of? lol .....I do suffer more from my asthma outside so im going to try taking an antihistemine before i go or something .... it still doesnt explain why the treadmill is worse than the eliptical machine/cross trainer though

The rest day inbetween runs, are we talking no excercise just recover or a light walk or a power walk ok? ... how about some at home working out like push ups and situps and lunges and such?? and i do love a good dance for an hour or so is that pushing it?

Im so glad i found this forum  i love running but im the only one i know who wants to do it seriously .... and you are all so nice  I'm Australian and used to aussie slang and swearing on fb and forums and such so this is a nice change .... i think it might be a joke but i love that you guys say smashing so much

Any ideas why i cant put up a pic? iv tried it lets me hit upload then doesnt change it
