This usually depends on the running style why your getting pain in your quads, Im not running expert but if theres a lack of strength in your glutes or you are leaning forward whilst running (which can be good to a certain extent) then your quads will feel it more. Theres almost too many factors to say why its your quads alone. Are they ok now?
I see everyone is training hard for the marathon; unfortunately I have started my training too late for the event this year maybe next.
I am the Soft Tissue Therapist for Everton FC, I have a treatment room in the city center if anyone is having any problems, wants some advice or a treatment don’t hesitate to contact me www.craigmazur.co.uk / firstname.lastname@example.org
In the mean time I'll keep up the running and cycling for the half marathon in Birmingham in October
Unfortunately Im unable unload a picture on my profile so ill continue to be the very unfriendly silhouette with the 'click to change' tshirt for the meantime…
Ive decided quite late, after a long summer break that Im going to do the marathon in October, first event Ive done since cross country at school! I have 13 weeks training in total which Im a little uncomfortable with but I feel I can do it with out too much pain A normal week so far is 16km,10km,10km runs, a speed interval run, leg strength and recreational cycling which im going to cut down on to save energy for running. Any advice would be appreciated (I guess more miles, that’s my plan)
