I am doing it as my first marathon! Also doing man vs horse in June for first time too. Only started running 6 months ago after 15 years off so thought be a good target.

I'm 5ft 10, 16.5 stone and had same problem. I didn't run for years and started running with a friend who already runs 30+ miles a week. I was paranoid about how I looked too start with so we stayed in parks and canals. Now I run 16.5 miles at weekend through streets. Most times we having a chat as running anyway so find not take notice of anyone else around. When I go on own then i put music on! Take no notice of what anyone shouts or says. I not had anyone shout anything yet and tbh most people really don't care.

Got mine 2 days ago and am really impressed. Used it for bike ride today and once I remembered to lock the bezel it was good. Bit sensitive before as I was wearing long sleeve top and kept changing the screen! Going for run Sunday and see how it works with a run. So far so good. Also I really like how it automatically links up to mac (that just adept freak in me though).
