If you're getting blisters, try some more expensive socks. |

Either cheer up, or get a new job- you've been miserable here for the past 3 years. Whining about work on twitter, facebook and walking around with a face like a dog's arse isn't helping anything. Also- do you want to come to my leaving party next week? |

If Mo doesn't win the vote on this forum, he's not got much chance overall! Murray splits the housewives vote as he's not nice enough- I think it has to be Wiggo. Isn't there a coach of the year too? Dave Brailsford should walk (/ride) that one. |

Andrew- I would try this to download your Nike+ runs and export them to XML http://runningtracker.tuxfamily.org/index.php?title=Main_Page I've never tried to import the XML formatted runs to Garmin, but there are instructions here: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=835 |

A few people have mentioned Parkrun- the free 5K events. They have them in Sedgefield and Durham. I think a good way to start might be to give yourself a couple of weeks running on your own (so that you can walk/run for half an hour), then go along to your nearest Parkrun. They are really friendly events- and it's great motivation to try and improve your time or get round the whole thing without stopping. http://www.parkrun.org.uk/sedgefield/ http://www.parkrun.org.uk/durham/home |
