I must admit, I was under the impression that those who were chosen would have been told last Friday, but when I look on that section on this website, it says to watch this space for updates.. Confused.. I am |

Well, I guess I haven't got a place this year. At the end of the day. I entered this with an open mind, and nothing will deter me from trying my hardest and being the best that I can be. Congratulations to those who have won a place. I'll keep an eye on who to vite for when the time comes! |

Zoe, Dave. I couldn't agree more. I was gutted I didn't get a chance to meet you properly before the start of the race. We must all meet up next time we're all running together. Saying that, i did see an old friend of mine, who I didn't know had entered. Like Dave, this was the first time at this distance and I did struggle at the end. One thing for me is that I never really know what pace I'm doing until I see the end result, and I haven't tried any of those gels that a lot of folk seem to use. Zoe. You inspired me into doing this, and I'm just mulling over what to enter next! |

Could agree more Jindalee.. This make the GSR look like a p*** up in a brewey - but then that is a much larger race. I definetely think the club runs are much better organised. Loads of praise for the marshalls with their friendly directions, and of course the weather....Need I say more! |

Great run for me too. Managed it in 2 hrs 1 minute, so I'm pleased with that. I did struggle with the last couple of miles, slowing down to a walk a couple of times. Hope everyone has had a good day! Never has a Caprisun tasted so good! |
