This looks like a fab race - not sure if it will be too much after having most of this year off of running (had a baby in May!) - although I ran Comrades last summer so hoping there's still plenty left in there - somewhere! I think I'll give it a go
Hi Becca, I was the same as you really struggled in the first 12 weeks! Now I'm running much less than before I was pg and over 2 mins a mile slower than my old pace as I get tired really easily running (just over 19 weeks now). I'd say just listen to your body, if you feel tired slow down! I've started to swim as well which is much easier than running, also I use the cross trainer at my gym instead of runnign some days also feels easier!
Hope everyone feels better and is able to run again soon! I ordered one of those maternity support belts which I'm hoping will help with ligament pain, although it hasn't arrived yet and I'm going for a run tonight so I hope it isn't sore again!
