Yup.....Im talking about INSANITY!!! Long story but my bf at the time was lazy and selfish (only split about 2 months ago after 3yrs of me trying) but ya our lifestyles are very different. his playstation was his workout and sadly his physical health reflected that!!! I kept the DVD's and ive been doing them religiously for 2 weeks now. The results are fantastic as i have a super clean diet aswell. No wheat, dairy or sugar! Because of the intensity of the workouts i havent been running but im hopefully going to reintroduce it in the new year. not sure how tho as the workouts are hard! lol But i LOVE them. probably only do a couple 5km's a week. Does anybody else do Insanity or other exercises to support running? I mean cardio/resistance (not yoga as i do yoga aswell). ciao
thanks simon. i will look into them again in the near future but for now i really love endomondo and its features and the fact i use my phone data so its more accurate and i have just save £130 and just ordered a SPIbelt for now. Endomondo is actually fantastic and does all i need. the only reason i considered one of the watches was because i love gadgets and my phone is too big to go in any pocket or on my arm but now i have found a very awesome alternative. Im totally excited to got out with my new toy when it comes. Its more for the summer when i wont run with a jacket and having a heavy phone in my jacket pocket is slightly annoying esp when i heat up and tie my jacket around my waist. so YAY!!! Cougie knew exactly what i was thinking.
I am a casual runner but would like to improve not necessarily to marathon standards but just improve to maybe a 10k. I use endomondo on my phone but i have recently got the galaxy s4 and it wont fit in my t-shirt pockets. i have narrowed it down to the Nike Sports watch or the tomtom runner. I ideally like the fact i could map the route but this is not crucial, but i do need to track distance and time. i am not fussed about HRM. Any advice and suggestions and experience with the above would be appreciated. thanks
