I decided to go on a diet and get back into running as a way of getting fit and losing weight. I started slimming world last week and weighed 13st 12lb, after a week of dieting and joining one of those Regiment Fitness classes, I have already lost 6lb in one week. I would like to lose 2 stone, but don't think I will be able to do that by Christmas. I did go for my first 3 mile run in 8 years today, it was hard work and had to walk in the last few minutes as my Achillies was a little sore (Probably as I am over weight) but it felt good to finally run. So I am hoping to join you all in the weight loss/running motivation!
