Completed the Extreme North Quadrathon ( 4 halfs, 4 days) It was brilliant running in stunning areas in North Donegal and I had a ball, next up Donegal Marathon this Sunday , well on target , will count it up when I'm home
Quadrathon was a fantastic event , I really enjoyed it and the craic was brilliant , quite tempted to do the 4 full marathons next year , next Sunday its Donegal Marathon , Kenny and Leslie glad to hear you are both on the mend
Leslie sorry to hear your crocked hope its better soon .
Ran the Running Blind race at Stormont on Saturday with 3 of my sons tbh it was more of a social event with a fun race thrown in , half the race you ran blind the other half you ran as the guide it was an excellent day
Busy few weeks ahead for me now, next week Im off to the Extreme North Quadrathon ( 4 halfs in 4 days) then Donegal Marathon , Rathlin , GNR and finally The Causeway Coast Ultra, It'll be October before I know what day of the week it is
MTD 621.8 , Attended an interesting race on Saturday, a 5k run with a partner in which you both ran half the race blindfolded and the other person became your guide, both positions were quite odd but guiding I found more stressful than running blind, If you ever get a chance to try it I thoroughly recommend it. Busy few weeks ahead on holidays tomorrow going to Iceland for 4 days, the wifes hid my running shoes, next week I tackle the Inishowen Quadrathon ( 4 halfs in 4 days), followed by the Donegal Marathon and the Rathlin Island 10 miler, August will be gone in the blink of an eye , but hey thats 88.6 miles in the bag before training runs
