Went to see Black Sabbath a couple of months ago they were great 5k and 20 miles of trail and beach gets me 270.2 so far, I have a 5k charity race in the morning and might do a short recovery run tonight ,we will see
One2e, if you can get an 18 and 20 done in the next 3 weeks then taper it will just make the whole experience more pleasant you want to be at the start fresh , you should also use those 2 runs as dry runs for the big day :
1. Wear the same clothes
2. Test gels if you're using them
3. Good old Imodium if you have stomach problems
4. Vaseline everything you wish to hold on to, including your feet
5 are you gonna carry a key, phone , where you putting them ?
6. Are you carrying a water bottle or not
Im a bit anal in regards to planning but if you get all the silly things ironed out early on then you can fill race day with the usual amount of fear and excitement cos you've got the basics right ????????
