Plantar fasciitis can be treated very effectively with shockwave therapy. Combining shockwave with all other conventional physiotherapy stretches and massage etc. will give you a better chance of fully recovering from plantar fasciitis. PM me for any personal enquiries I am based in beds and bucks. |

If you would like any more information about shockwave therapy please feel free to PM or email me. I use Shockwave therapy for athletes on a dailly basis and would highly recommend it for achilles tendon problems in particular. The treatment is non invasive and involves little time off. visit www.shockwavetherapymiltonkeynes.co.uk or www.miltonkeynesphysio.co.uk for more information. Kind regards Paul |

I nordic walk on a regular basis Sarah, theres less impact on the joints than running and you burn more calories than walking at the same speed. It all depends on where the pain is really and I would have to have a look. I would give it 14 days after the injection at least. Steroid injections really only kick in after two weeks then the effects wear off up to 1 month. So really give it 2 weeks to 1 month. The next option for you would be shockwave therapy. |
