I'm training for a few half marathons/ 10k's and have recently taken a bit of an interest in the rowing machine at the gym.
Do you have some realistic targets/ challenges that you could set someone who is completely new to the erg?
Cheers guys, went out, loved it and ran a lot faster/better than I thought i would.
the thing is I dont think I could even run 5k now!!!
I'll go out tonight and see how I get on, hopefully rediscover something!!
I thought that would be the answer.
The thing I struggle with the most is being at such a porr level compared to a few months ago! But again I guess there's only one way to sort that out and that is to get back out.
Completed the Edinburgh Marathon earlier this year and haven't run since- I would like to start again but im not sure how to get going (i.e how far to aim as a starter etc).
I have signed up for a half marathon in March as inspiration/ a kick up the back side but I still just haven't got round to doing anything about it!
Any tips for re-motivation??!
