Congratulations to all that took part and also to the supporters. Felt good early, but probably went to hard, struggled over the last 10k's or so and finished with a 4:06, this put me at the 30% point in my age group. Disappointed in not breaking 4 hours but first marathon and 7 months ago my first training session was limited to 1 minute walk, 1 minute jog, already planning the next marathon. Safe trips home. |

Arrived in the UK last Friday and have had limited internet access, all the best to those recovering from setbacks and to all remember to have fun. Last run in Melbourne was in 34 Deg. and first run on Saturday was in freezing conditions(for me) and ended up being snowed on, all good fun. Just arrived in Paris and settled in looking forward to catching up with people if possible as I have 2 friends from home also running. My daughter has come down with Gastro today so hoping she recovers quickly and the baton is not passed to me. Quick one to the list fairy, will be changing to the purple pig pen Happy running. Pete |

Hi ATM Received the email, many thanks but unfortunately the last 2 attachments open as blank word pads. This may be due to my lack of IT smarts. |
