sportsdirect messed up my order and got me an EU43 instead. On the box they have slapped an UK8 label, but the vendor label says 43 and the shoes are 43, so they are big.

I'm going to return them and order size 8 again and just in case - size 7.5, as I'm not sure what they have done - I think that VIVO doesn't make shoes in half sizes, so I'm quite confused with Sportsdirect's sizing... I guess whichever fit me better I keep, and the other pair - I will return.

Ordered the breatho trails in size 42 EU. I expect them to be bigger, but I guess it's better than being too snug.

Seems like noone, even vivobarefoot themselves cannot tell if a shoe will fit ... gotta try. I'm EU 42 in my dress shoes and ordered the Breatho trail in the same size, as they said they run big and EU 42 should be something like a EU43, which is fine with me (a little more room in front.) I'm planning to ease into barefoot running slowly, as I got a knee injury and should ease into running carefully now as I'm trying to strenghten up.

Can anyone tell me what are the differences in sizing between the models - for example the Trail Hydro, the Trail Breatho and the Evo (I guess the other models are on the same last as the evo, so maybe the same sizing). Which are true to size and which are not and by how much - half or whole size up/down.

Hi guys, I'm planning on ordering a pair of VIVOBAREFOOT shoes online, but as I live outside UK I want to make the right decision with sizing. I'm  8UK in mu daily shoes and usually 8,5 in running shoes, though I have Asics GT 2000 in size 8 and they fit me perfectly. My foot is 265mm long and about 100mm wide, so I have wide feet with narrow heels. I used the Shoefitr tool for sizing and it suggests that I go for a size 8 with the Neo Trail Hydro, and size 7 or 7,5 with the Breatho Trail, which seems a bit oversized, based on user reviews.

I'm also wondering how's the sizing on the other models of the Neo line and which of them do you prefer. I'm going to run on grass and trails, but I also want to use the shoes indoors in my fitness training, but don't want to spend extra bucks for two pairs just for now.
