Calf discomfort last 48 hrs after long run. Have 10k race at weekend. Did 4mile easy run today to see how it was. Still feels bit achy and tight on running but fine on walking. Any suggestions... Help!! Did a bit of foam rolling but should I test it till race?? Cheers
Lots of stretching and a good Pilates instructor! Have had Low back pain following a hilly off road race but more so at left sacroiliac joint.has now been 3 months since I ran , very frustrating when it's something that means a lot to you and miss it when not able to do it. However getting better and hope to be out on the trails and roads again in the new year. Still getting Physio which is a help and encouraging, also recommend swimming . Keeps you sane if all else fails for now!
