If anyone want to join me around Edinburgh for some long training runs let me know. I've lost my running buddy (his marathon is this weekend in Paris) so looking for a fellow marathon trainee for my 16-20 milers.
I'm aiming for 4hr30 but probably going to be hitting the under 5hours marker. Did a 26k run this weekend in 2hr50 to give you an idea of my speed. Its my first marathon so my priority is finishing injury free.

Join me in my first ever Edinburgh marathon, specially chosen because it is nice and flat! Its at the end of May as well so you get a few extra weeks to train. Their open entry is closed but they do have charity places.
Hello everyone. I've signed up to Edinburgh full marathon this year after running in the Hairy Haggis team relay (part of the Edinburgh Marathon runs) for the last two years. This gives me a pretty good overview of the spectators point of view of getting to the start line/ finish lines to watch other members of my team. Please ask any questions.
I'm desperate to find some individuals to go for evening runs as I really dont enjoy running in the dark on my own so if anyone is in the Edinburgh city centre area and wants to meet for a Tuesday / Friday evening run let me know.
