I have a waterproof neoprene one for the Galaxy s2 that I have had for a couple of weeks. Im going running more in the hills so I need to have my hands free for balance. The one I got was off amazon and is made by igadgitz. Velco arm strap-on affair. Wasnt cheap at 10quid but its well made and snug.
After how many miles does your arch pain kick in? I run in new balance 860 and mizuno wave inspire 9s. These are supposed to offer more support for PF-but depends on how bad yours is. For me I erradicated my PF through stretching then it came back not too long after. Still managed to run a marathon with it but its annoying!
Hi Paul. Well the mizunos do seem to give more pain. seems they are less supportive. I think although the wave plate makes stable, the arch in the mizuno is very flat compared to my n.balance and this seems to be giving me problems. There is so much conflicting information minimalist vs support/stability. My aim was to do a marathon but at this rate im going to struggle and dont know what to do next. Orthotics? Ive been stretching but still running and from what ive read with pf this is not the way to go. Really frustrating. Do you have an idea of why you started wuth your pf?
The 860 is a stability shoe for overpronation whereas the 1080 is neutral so depends on how you run. I think the v3 has just come out in the 860 so further new mods. I currently use a combo of NB 770 and 860 (increase in stability from 770 to 860) both v1. Ive been a fan of NB for a long time. Like the fact they are made in uk. Just had gait analysis and they put me in some mizuno inspire 9. Im not getting on with them (seem to be giving me more problems than the 860 did on longer runs).
