Cool, i was trying to keep the pace steady.
This weekend is a weird one for me as one of my daughters birthday party on Monday, and we are out on Sunday and i have a drive tonight.
I will be doing my LSR on Saturday instead of Sunday and moving Fridays run to Monday.
Having built up my distance I am working on the Manchester Marathon in April.
I need to do core strength exercises and I do a little.
The question is how much should I be doing? Two or three times a week? 10 minutes as session? Less or more?
Tempo run done and all good, i think the pacing was ok ranging from 5.48 to 6.0x.
Felt much better tonight and was trotting nicely.
This will be my first marathon. Only just reached the distance of a half marathon, so this is going to be tough going for me i think.
Currently working on building a base and doing 10 mile LSR each week before pushing the distance on mid to end of November.
16km done. I am finding that my legs are getting achy and my feet getting sore (instep) before I am out of breath. Having said that I am managing the runs ok just giving a little feedback on how i feel as I run.
