Thanks guys, feel quite releaved now. I always thought trail shoes must be kept for the trail and not for the road as my work collegue keeps telling me. ( he keeps telling to get some Nike air pegusus. But thought id check with you. Glad i did.
Hi Lee, yeah my new balance are MT 610BL . i haven't checked to see if they do a road version yet but if they do i think i should get some. I think im goin to give the reboks one more chance next week and if they let me down ill use the NB. Cheers.
Right folks, i need some urgent advice. i started running in November last year and because i like running off and on road i wear a pair of New Balance trail trainer's, they only cost 34 quid but they are really comfy. I've run 13k on the road in them and had no problems. Now in a few weeks i am doing the Chester 1/2 marathon so i thought it would be wise to get some proper road shoes. so i have bought some Rebok Zig and Zag Tec trainers. anyway i have worn them to the gym twice with no problems, and today i did my first 10k in them. And i have blisters on the ball of my left foot. I've read the reviews on these trainers and they all sound good. So here is the question. shall i do Chester in my new Balance trail or shall i keep plodding away in my Zig Tecs and hope they stop giving me blisters. Now i can afford new trainers if need be but im from yorkshire and im tight and any new shoes may give blisters too. 3 weeks to help. Thanks. Ps.
