Hi all. In a similar position to some in this thread that it is my first marathon and I am not sure what I should be targeting. I’ve only ever raced once and that was last year’s Nike 10k. Got 46 mins for that but have been booze free since New Year so would hope would be better now. Doing 10 mile training runs in 1hr 13mins and 13 miles around 1hr40. Bit concerned that I will burn out as the mileage increases and it also concerns me that so many people in this group seem to have done marathons before; I hope that this does not mean that the odds are stacked against the new boys/ girls!
