thanks for taking the time to reply to my somewhat foolish question
Cougie, Maybe buy some spikes to run when its icey and slippy!!
Seriously, It was a geunine question, i do run outside and intend to continue doing so but there will be times when its "safer" to run indoors
with the cold weather approaching I may have to start using a treadmill to keep my training going
My pace, according to my app, is 6min per KM
The treadmill is KM per Hour
Anybody know what speed I should have the treadmill at?
thanks for all the replys
i usually try and do some intervals on one my short runs but the rest is at comfortable pace.
Apologies if in the wrong place
i am training for the London marathon next year, its going well and i am still enjoying it.
a close friend has suggested that I maybe over doing it, i currently do 3 x short runs (8KM) in the week with a long run (16km) on a saturday.
clearly i don't want to burn out but i also need to put in enough miles to be ready.
I assume its sensible to take a forced break every now and then to avoid fatigue/injury etc.
should i cut back to 3 runs per week?
