Hope al went well, why were you up at 3 am on race day though?
I made it to the 30th place out of 500 runners, among profesionals. In 55 minutes with a gluteus maximus injured (left butt cheek strained) I'm proud and Happy. I was "up at 3am your time, I'm in the other side of the world, Central America.
Runners on a threadmill don't spit, but it is a controlled area, if you are in the streets and you get your nose stuffed it is probably due to runners sinus or outdoor allergy, it will stop you from breathing regularly.
If you first instinct is to spit, do it, that's what your body is telling you to do, don't spit on others face though.
