Playtex city is HUGE ,will hold all 15000 of you should it rain... so definitely big enough to meet inside. There will be a stage set up against one of the walls from where the 'formal' entertainment will take place. A meeting point at one of the stage's corners might be workable. There will also be a 'food' area within the marquee which could be used similarly.
I agree with PP, the emphasis was definitely on having as comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience as possible. Party atmosphere will reign!

Scampermouse, As far as I know, the organisers will be sending out all the information we will need, before the due date - hopefully! They assured us at the briefing, that this would include detailed instructions for us so we would be aware of what would be required of us, eg.the marshalling stints could be as short as 2 hours, or as long as 5.5hrs.
Hope this helps. Call Gemma if you need anymore info, they are very helpful. I don't have the number to hand, sorry. |

I last did the full Two Oceans in 1987 when the course took in Chapman's Peak. Despite the severity of the climb, the magnificence of the views and the exhileration (sp?)of getting to the top are second to none.
Unfotunately, due to land slips and lack of funds, I understand that Chapman's is no longer en route.
I would certainly like to run again but only when CP is re-opened. Does anyone have an update?
Thanks
