Hi all, I running London is 7 weeks and sprained my ankle 1 week ago. I have done lots of time in past playing football but not recently. Swelling and bruising undercontrol but tried least night and still limping/hopping. Going to give it another week and try again but wondering what people can recommend other than RICE. Doesn't hurt whilst cycling to replacing sessions and trying to do longer session? Help on training program changes welcome! |

Agreed Mug Punter, more fun running through the puddles than driving through them. Achy now though first race in over 2 years. |

Hi this is a great race and local to me. Unfortunately I have failed to get my entry in before the race has filled up. Having done it the last 3 years I am interested in getting a race number if anyone drops out for any reason, let me know. Thanks and for those with entries then enjoy!! |

Hi Andrew, well in my opinion the Wolverhampton Half is not that hilly a course. I haven't done that many different courses but of those I have done I would say. Stafford Undulating Relatively fast course with a couple of hills in it. Wolverhampton Fairly flat with some hills good chance of PB Stoke Hilly! Great support/atmosphere not a PB route 3-10 min slower than PB Uttoxeter Great scenery pretty hilly. Could be a PB if in the right mood (uphill from 10-12 miles). As for course profile I would say hilly around 8-10 miles (but not that steep) |

Well thought I would start a thread for the first time. I have entered this (having run it in 06 and 07) for those of you thinking of running it for the first time it has one of the best atmospheres of all the races I have done. This year will be different for me as my wife will also be running this as her first half |
