Hi Carol, I too am very bored with running at present and am really finding it hard to get out there. I did some lovely beach running in Jersey at Easter but came back with a cold and have been using that as an excuse to not go out ever since. I too have gained weight as it seems more pleasurable to drink a glass of something red and fruity sitting on the patio in the sun. However, I bought two new running tops at the weekend so will have to try them out soon - maybe that's the spur you need - some new kit! I will give it a go tonight! Keep going!
Hi Lucytalk who is Jane? I know I shall feel very stupid for asking, I'm sure ... I do now feel stupid because I've jst remembered it's the wonderful Jane who must be the most inspirational person going - bet she's tired of hearing that!
Dear all, Not sure whether any of you are following Rosie's epic run around the world but I thought I'd update you if you haven't visited her website. She has just passed a signport saying she is 1000km east of Moscow and doing OK. Her website is worth a visit - www.rosiearoundtheworld.co.uk she has lots of funny tales to tell (running in slippers, "Columbine") - I'll leave you to read those and the rest! Thanks for reading this. Fiona
