Use to spend more than half the day on here in my old job. Changed jobs in August & got bollocking for trying to do the same there within 2 days of starting so I thought it would be a good ideal to give it a rest for a while. (hence the infrequent postings these days)

"How do we deal with it?". What's there to deal with? This so called "binge drinking problem" is overrated media hype. There's no problem. Some people like to have a few drinks on a Friday & Saturday, so what? If that's how they like to enjoy themselves let them do it.
Wonder what the control freaks who govern us will be trying to stop us doing next? The best thing they can do is p*** off and leave us to think for ourselves for a change.

Offering places in races is of course an outrageous thing to do, and can't be condoned.....but if anyone knows someone with a London Marathon place they can't use and wouldn't be adverse to making a small profit putting it to good use, arrangements can be made.

Right, clocking off time. Time to head for the pub and get totally f***ed on anything alcoholic I can lay my hands on.
Have a great Christmas & New Year everyone. You've been a wonderful audience, thank you & good night.
