well - if anyboy is up for running for 90 mins or so on sunday morning early (8ish) then let me know - I'm also planning to run for an hour tonight at about 5.30.
how long are your long runs and where would you normally run ?
My wife goes to the gym on the weekend at 10.30 so always have to be back in time for that - it's never a problem for me though as I have 3 kids (7,5,18 months) and their favourite hobby is getting up as early as possbile and then being as noisy as possible !!
Oh no, don't be scared off by 7.5 miling !! I'm as happy runnng 10 min miles and doing all the chatting than I am running as if my life depended on it !!
I generally like to run either early morning at the weekends or week nights as this interferes least with my 'family commitments'
I've thought at looking at the Orion club but I think it's all too regiemented for me in terms of set times - having said that I think if I'm to get quicker I need some kind of structure to my work.
Hi guys and thanks Travis for putting me on to this thread. I do remember soome of your names.avatars from a few years back when i ran the FLM.
I'm currently entering the odd race, doing some sprint tri's but nothing extreme (unoike my closest buddy who's doing Nice Ironman next saturday !!)
My neigbour who i've always run with has hung up his trainers so I've decided it's time to seek some local company to run with. I've got 3 young kids so generally just get out when I can. Mostly I run and MTB in epping forest/chingford.
Anyway, if you guys are kind of a group who run and not too fast (i race mid distance at 7.5 min miles) and don't mind new faces then let me know.
