OK so I'm coming out of hibernation and I'd like some pirate kit please. I don't know how to add me to the list but I'd like to order a pair of longer shorts and a monaco once I've figured out what size I am. While I'm trawling back through this thread anyone got kit already who has a 44 inch chest and a waist which varies between 34 and 36? I'm very aware of rb's comment above but don't want baggy either!

Thanks for the reply Christy, definitely not too long and very helpful - I thought my question was rolling off into the desert unanswered until you came along. I've had doubts about my core stability/strength for some time so I think it is time to do something about it. Don't know where you are or what exactly you do but if you know anybody good (and runner friendly!!) in the Bristol/Bath area could you send me an email please?

Hi peeps, I'm wondering if my injury history sounds familiar to anybody and what you people think I should do next. Here's the story so far. Got chronic achilles tendon itis/osis whatever it is in Aug 05. Had big rest, saw podiatrist got orthoses - more rest - little running more achilles pain - saw chiro and then physio, long rest, started gentle running, read Chi Running and according to someone who knows, my form improved hurrah (still wearing orthotics). Latest twinges are tight hamstring, and v tight calf (soleus I think). And bruise on top of big toe between knuckle and next joint. This aches too. Other odd stuff, I really struggle to relax my ankle, and I think I clench my toes except the big one (with the bruise)when I run, walk or cycle (not all the time but at some point during the stride or pedal cycle). When I cycle I get very numb toes. Finally my hamstring even gets tight when I swim now. I don't know who to call next, physio, podiatrist, knackers yard, shamen? Anybody got any ideas? Thanks
