I don't know how people PB here, I think it's a good 3 or 4 minutes slower than a really flat course. It's a decent day out though, well marshalled, nice route. It was funny running through that first water splash. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who thought "that wasn't too bad", only to be greeted with a massive flood about a mile later!
First run after the event today, a steady lunchtime 5-miler. I'm fairly certain I cracked a rib or maybe my sternum when I got car-doored on the way into Goring, it's still a bit sore when I do much with my chest.
