Hi Stephen Good idear with the note You might want to email the running club with regard to the change of date ,,you never know they might defer you for next year they might not though but it's worth a go, but for a small club like ours we have been hit by huge losses. As we had to repay for all the loos,bananas, st johns hall hire and all the cakes and food that was brought we had to donate it all to the schools and old people homes around us and what with 300 runners deferring until next year that means that the next race we will be making a loss as well
We had the race last weekend and such a shame only half the people turned out for it ,,and only having 351 runners on such a fast flat course didnt do the race any justice
