Cheers for the support guys. Yeah, I think ill use all the extra time on looking good. I am a bit of a binge drinker (foster...mmm) but hey if I have lost weight and look really good I will have loads of confidence.

God break ups are hard...I was shitted on.

I'm doing well and getting fit. I have lost a stone and starting to look good. My problem is I have just ended a relationship and really need to go out and socialise more, but I find that drinking really sets me back as I eat crap and always end putting all the weight back on.

Does everyone agree that I should continue to shape up and once I get to my ideal weight, drink but work hard in the week to eat sensibly and burn off the calories!

Help!

Mate, im not suggesting a high fat diet! That would be counter-productive. If you read my original post im suggesting 4 weeks or so of a lean protein/low carb based diet - thus body fat will be called upon to provide energy for exercise.
