Is anyone else doing this and fancy meeting up? As we'll be bussed to the start minus spectators I'm feeling in need of company.

Ok, just go to http://www.epicevents.org/ Click 'Results' on the left-hand side, and it's the last but one one in the list that appears.

I think I'll be doing it as a warmup for London.

I'm Joanne, and I'm 35 (so an excited new veteran!) I've been running regularly for about 5 years. I'm committed to my sport to the extent that I helped turn our gym running club into an affiliated club, but that also arguably holds me back a little, as we don't have formalised training or a track. I'm reasonably fast, especially over the shorter distances - only 19 seconds away from a sub-20 5k - , and I'd love to achieve a bit more of my potential. I'm always being told that I run too fast in training - at least on Fetch! - so I'd love some professional advice. I've just achieved a GFA standard for London (although I have a ballot place for next year) so I'm feeling more confident than usual about my marathon ability.
