i made these at the weekend...i added more peanut butter than suggested and an extra banana to the mixture...i did find the first batch a wee bit dry( maybe cos i used gluten free self raising flour), so the batch i made today, i added some honey....(my friend added maple syrup)...it made them a bit moister and they were truly yummy...i have frozen some, so i can take to work for my breakfast!
missed out competing at this years garmin barcelona triathlon this year, but a few of us are planning on doing this event next year- any idea what the date is for it yet- i am guessing it will be around about the 16th october, as this years one was the 18th. the event has a super sprint, sprint and oly distances.
am trying to get my leave sorted out, but is quite difficult, as the scottish tri dates for 2010 havent been finalised yet!
i bought a camel back last year..........it sat in the cupboard unused..........until 4 weeks ago!- tried it out on a longish off -road run- the best thing i have ever bought!- would never go back to carrying a bottle in my hand or round my waist- hardly know its there!!!
