My first race with my Garmin GPS thingy - it says I did 13.8 miles. Does anyone else find their GPS inaccurate or did I take a wrong turn? Very demoralising cos I thought I'd nearly finished..but I hadn't.
I wrap my lttle toe and the next one in zinc tape (don't think micropore would be sticky enough) but only cos they're the toes I usually get blisters on. Try it out before the day cos it can feel weird
I think my mind is playing tricks! Did a gentle 3 miles yesterday (to work off some chocolate) and everything hurt- knees, hips, had stitch - I probably ignore it usually. Have slept in the spare room for last 2 nights to try and avoid hubbie's cold but now I think I'm getting it - just going out to get some multivitamins! Will probably fall off the kerb and twist my ankle now....
I think I'm putting too much faith in this tapering lark and conserving energy too much - I've only done two runs a week for a while now (haven't missed any long runs) but I'm sitting here munching pringles and beer. And this is supposed to be my peak of fitness....!!
