I had a skin burn which progressed to cellulitis a week ago. I've been on antibiotics (Flucloxacillin) since Sunday and the infection hasn't progressed any, so it appears the antibs are doing their job. There's still some visible swelling in my ankle and calf, but they're not painful. My doctor doesn't look like he's big into exercise (a bit porky!), so he's told me not to run, but he says I can walk. Was anyone else given the advice not to run? I really want to, and I'm not sure why if I can walk I can't run.
My brother bought me a subscription to the American RW. It used to be excellent, but it's also steadily going downhill. There's virtually no difference in content now between the US and UK mags, bar the race reports and race calendar.
Robin, you should send your report into the Belfast Telegraph - their coverage in this morning's edition is limited to a few pictures and a caption . That's the bad news - the good news is, one of the pictures is of you .
