Decaff - yep on a/d's, only started them just over a week ago. I just plodded on for months thinking everything would be normal eventually, little did I know eh! Thought it was just normal to feel the way I was feeling after having a baby and being in HDU, being so far away from family and having no support at all, and what with himself away. Starting to feel somewhat better already but seem to be walking around in a foggy haze most of the day. I'm sure it will get better the longer I take them. My health Visitor has been great and is putting me in touch with an organization called homestart.
Don't beat yourself up about breastfeeding etc. You have done really well to get to 20 weeks. Little skin is delicate and winter weather not the best for it, so it could be a number of things not just formula milk. I keep thinking because I only breastfed for a week (due to all those drugs they put in to me - and Doc's not too sure what they were doing to the baby), that because munchkin has now got pet allergy induced asthma its all my fault for giving her formula milk. The Doc's advised, however, that she has got it from my husband as he had a pet allergy when he was younger. They say she will grow out of it though. We are going home to Wales 1st week of Dec and the cat is coming with us, as we are re-homing her with my Dad.
Even more depressed as haven't run or swam in months. Cry, sob, sob...
Decaff - have you tried a more substaintail formula milk, i.e. the next level up. This may fill Jacob up for abit longer before trying him on baby rice.
I've been having a right nightmare of a time. Munchkin started walking 3 weeks ago and is also teething her back teeth - been an absolute nightmare as hubby been away again. And to top it all I've got post natal depresssion...
Ploddingalong I've been reading your posts for awhile and have to agree with snoozy that there should be a policy for pregnant women. I do hope that your employer completed a Health & Safety at Work form for yourself given that you are pregnant and the difficult situation that you work with in, it must be hard under normal circumstances let alonw with the bump.
Clare - congratulations on the birth of Lottie. Is Lottie short for Charlotte or is she a Lottie in her own right?
I can't believe where the year has gone, my little bundle of joy will be 1 year old on Wednesday 27 Sept. Looks like cake and jelly for tea (a special treat). Just a shame her Dad won't be here to celebrate as he is away working. Hopefully he'll be back in a week so will have to get the balloons out then.
Hope all you ladies are welling well. Mitchie Moo hope you feeling not too big and the twins are giving you time to rest. Hope everyone has a good weekend x
