'HIGH SUPPORT, VERY STABLE'
Strengths:
High level of support makes this a very effective motion control shoe.
Weaknesses:
Only cushioned in the heel. A bit of forefoot cushioning would improve comfort.
Overall:
A great shoe for those needing a higher level of support.

Relatively lightweight and versatile with decent heel cushioning. Good support.
Overall:
A great shoe for shorter and longer distances. Light enough to be used as a faster shoe and very responsive.

Asics Gel Kinsei 2

'HEAVY BUT VERY COMFORTABLE'
Strengths:
Loads of gell creates a very smooth and soft ride. Usual features of top end Asics shoes.
Weaknesses:
The additional gel makes the shoe quite heavy and the stability is only suitable for neutral or very mild over-pronators.
Overall:
A great looking shoe with amazing new shoe techonology. It is heavy but a lot of runners will not notice the difference, nor care given the additional cushioning!

'COMPACT AND EFFECTIVE'
Strengths:
Small and good level of carbs
Weaknesses:
Not so great to get down, quite thick and needs to be taken with water. Flavours could be better.
Overall:
A good gel but flavours aren't that great.

'SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE'
Strengths:
Easy to get down and doesn't taste bad at all. The water content helps it down a lot.
Overall:
A great energy gel that's easy to swallow, try the caffinated version as well for that extra boost (Smart 1 Energizer Gel)!

'MID-SIZED GPS WATCH/HRM, GOOD FOR SMALL WRISTS'
Strengths:
Fits slimmer wrists nicely. The watch is great for everyday use and has all the normal sports functions yet still has the ability to record GPS / heart rate data.
Weaknesses:
Separate unit for GPS measurement needs to be worn.
Overall:
A good piece of training kit but does require more than just a watch and heart rate strap.
