Great training partner option to do intervals/pace/distance training.
Nice and comfy strap. The unit looks bulky and awkward, but feels fine.
Weaknesses: Loses signal a bit too easily and takes a while to catch up. It sometimes tells me I'm running at 20 min miles or 6 min miles - I don't!
Won't win any stylish design awards.
The download software is poor, but there's others out there that are really good. Links to Google Earth are fab.
Overall: The Garmin has the ability to let you off your leash. You don't need to plan exactly where you're going. Just turn it on, wait for the satellites to wake up and set off wherever you fancy. Then come home, download and see where you've been in glorious technicolour.
If you don't want or need a HRM, are anal about wanting to know how far you've been and then analysing your runs afterwards, this is perfect.
