Brooks Pure Flow
Posted: 25/06/12
'Reasonably lightweight cushioned shoe. Exactly what I was looking for.'
Strengths:
I've used these for almost every type of run training except off-road - I have Cascadia for those runs.
From long runs to speedwork to Tempo to 10K, 21K and 42K races, they have been a pleasure to run in.
I suffered badly from Morton's Neuroma and also Piriformus pain prior to changing back to Brooks. Yes, I have incorporated some additional stretching but think the shoes have made a major contribution to pain free running.
Weaknesses:
Haven't found any.
Overall:
Superb shoe; might buy again, but always keen to try something else out of the same range - perhaps Cadence. A bit pricy, but also priceless!
