'Loved the 6 Hate the 7'
Strengths:
None
Weaknesses:
The minor tweaks have made the 7 a different shoes and despite my best attempts have given up after only 50 miles found i was suffering with blisters and heat spots on both feet and have confined the 7 to the bin
Overall:
Stock up on the 6

'Not as good as they were'
Weaknesses:
Found I suffered with a blister on the left side of my foot after wearing these shoes and disappointed with the level of support.
Not as good as previous models and won't be wearing these again in a hurry

Not as good as previous models

'Not cheap but love the'
Strengths:
Had these shoes since model 11 and love them. For me there are the best stability shoes and can be worn from new without the need to break them in. Features are plenty and the techno side is impressive I just know they suit me and I've had a couple of cheaper stability shoes but they just aren't the same
Weaknesses:
The cost Always try to shop around there are bargins just getting harder to find
Overall:
Costly but worth it

'COMFORTABLE SHOE'
Strengths:
Thes has great cushioning and feels a a lot more supportive than the last NB shoes I had which were the 858's. Have completed a couple of 10ks in them this week and no issues or blisters.
Weaknesses:
Not great for short distance races so will be keeping my Asics but they will be my long distances shoes.
Overall:
Have coverted me back to New Balance as my long distance shoe

'GOOD STEADY TRAINER READY FROM THE OFF'
Strengths:
Bought this shoes after an injury forced me to look for a more supportive shoes. These offer a strong level of stability with good cushioning to the forefoot. Started running in these and they didn't need any break in time.
These shoes are good value and offer excellent support, if you want to win try some other shoes, if you want to get round these could be the shoes for you.
Weaknesses:
They feel a bit heavy and some runners would view them as chunky
Overall:
Good Value supportive shoe that does the job and gets you round without leaving your feet asking for forgiveness.

'THE BEST SINCE THE 854'S'
Strengths:
very comfortable and very stable these are the best NB model since the 854's. Forget the shoes since the 854's these shoes are NB at their best
Weaknesses:
They took a couple of weeks to break in but otherwise little to fault
Overall:
I was a avid NB runner until the 855's and they were so poor that I changed to using Asics. The best thing I can say about the 858's they are the best shoes since the 854's they are well cushioned offer a stable ride and I get the feeling that they will serve me well for many miles

'BEST SHOE YET'
Strengths:
Comfortable, supportive lighter I could go on, simply put if you need a stability shoe start here. You can start running in these shoes as soon as you put them on your feet
Weaknesses:
Too pricey if anything. Bought mine in the US so paid about £65
Overall:
This model has improved any already fantastic stability shoe and although i have run in these shoes since model 10. This is by far the best

'THE PERFECT STABILITY SHOE'
Strengths:
Use this shoes for all distances as its effective enough to use for 10K's and is designed to knock out the mileage for longer distances. I recently ran the London marathon with 2110's wearing a pair of these and they provided everything I need even a sprint finish at the end To me this shoe scores 10 of 10 for performance comfort and value
Weaknesses:
Due to the popularity of this shoe it can be difficult to get hold of so I know have to buy two pairs at once!!
Overall:
If you have a friend who wants to get out and run Tell them to buy these shoes.

'A TECHNOPHOBE'S WATCH'
Strengths:
Easy to use. Easy to set functions
Weaknesses:
Strap began to slip on long runs.
Overall:
As somebody who gets confused by too many buttons and can sometimes have problems even setting the time and date. This watch was a godsend. Easy to operate and excellent as a stater watch for anyone moving beyond a fashion accerssory to a occasional runner.
