Strengths: Portable and light can be used in any country, Accurate for 95% of runs,Alarms,lap times, works well with Motion Base, Advanced workouts take the geuss out of splits, virtual partner increases the challenge, can share the information with your coach, use in any sports. Motivating during the run as you monitor your progress. Large memory.
Weaknesses: Main LED HR too small,not always accurate, bulky, HR reading irratic, Belt chaffs,Waiting for GPS signal at start can take awhile and you get cold, HR readings not picked up by gym equipment
Overall: I love the flexibility that my forerunner has given me during my marathon training. Can change route on a run and still have accurate recordings. Great for monitoring progress by my coach.
