Asics Gel Trabuco 12

'a brilliant shoe that did the job '
Strengths:
comfortable with great grip on the multiple surfaces.
Weaknesses:
I thought they were red/ grey but turned out to be pink/ grey
Overall:
I bought these shoes because I run in asics 11401's for slight pronation and these seemed to fit the bill for off road........they felt comfortable for my 4 mile test...I then asked a lot out of them by doing a 45 mile ultra race around the brecon beacons in December... a lot of mud, rocks, streams, grass and water with some short parts of road....the shoes performed perfectly and not a single blister...worth every penny

'SIMPLY THE BEST'
Strengths:
they keep you dry, warm and protected
Weaknesses:
not easy to find and never in a sale
Overall:
These are simply the best sock out there..no blisters and after going through a stream they dry very quickly and save your feet from damage...I just love them and recently discovered that they do them in black.perfect as my only critism before is that they went a greyish colour after getting muddy and washed a few times

'BRILLIANT TOY, GREAT FOR WHEN RUNNING ON YOUR OWN.'
Strengths:
The virtual training partner is perfect. Stops me from my errsctic pace running of speeding up after I ve drifted off.Its handy to know pace and distances to train for my first marathon. Helps keep me motivated.
Weaknesses:
Takes a while to find the signal and if you wander indoors it loses signal fast.It has also had trouble with measuring sometimes. measured 4.4 miles for a 3.76 route. I knew I wasn't running 6.11 min miles because i can't.
Overall:
Really pleased I bought this piece of equipment as really motivates on solo runs. If the new one was cheaper I'd have bought that one.
