Oregon Scientific Heart Rate Monitor - HR102
Posted: 10/03/09
'POINTLESS?'
Strengths:
Great Chest Strap - Very easy to use system and extremly easy to set up. No issues with that at all.
Weaknesses:
As soon as I start running the Heart rate drops to 0 and I cannot get it to pick up a heart rate at all until I stop running and that is not when I need it! It seem while running it jogs about too much to pick up an accurate beat!
Overall:
Great to start with but simply did not dot he job

Only one i have found so far is that i have jit the "lap" button a few times by mistake. User error? or design fault? You decide.....
Overall:
This is without a doubt the best piece of running kit i have ever purchased. The functions just give endless oppurtunities to improve. You can monitor performance and map out new courses. Absolutely fantastic piece of kit.

Nike Air Zoom Vomero 2

'THE ROLLS ROYCE OF RACE SHOES'
Strengths:
This shoe is Comfortable but light, Doesnt give anything away in design to allow it to be a great running shoe. Stable underfoot whether on road or trail. Wonderful shoe for long distance running.
Weaknesses:
Nike +
Overall:
Overall i cannot praise this shoe enough. I had a bad experience with a pair of shoes before i was recommended these babys. It has made the world of difference to my performances. This shoe has it all for the long distance runner, strong and lightweight, stylish and has a wonderful ability to remain waterproof and fully breathable. I am on my second pair of these and really dont need to look anywhere else. Supreme, Excellent and Outstanding. Only slight let down is the absence of the Nike Plus "pocket". but if this takes anything away from the shoe then dont do it!

'REVOLUTINARY'
Strengths:
Small, Snug and Sleek.
Great Trainers.
Fantastic timing and motivational comments.
Weaknesses:
Took a while for me to get the pace right on it. Thats its only drawback.
Overall:
Nike have hit upon something here. Nike and Apple have teamed up and come out with something that is a must have particulary for beginners. I have had one since August and have found it to be a fantastic aid. I did however get sapped into buying the shoes too which is annoying. However having said that the shoes are very comfy and have done be proud for over 150 miles now. Its easy to use and easy to understand. and if you have an IPOD already then you just must get this.
