Feet in the Clouds: A Tale of Fell-Running and Obsession by Richard Askwith
Posted: 20/03/07
'OBESESSIVE AND COMPELLING ACCOUNT OF A SPORT AND A RACE'
Strengths:
Depth in history and landscape. a personal tale which draws the reader into the obsession.
Weaknesses:
We know from the outset the author achieves his goal so the suspense is ruined.
Overall:
My favourite running book, a new definition of toughness!

High5 Protein Recovery
Posted: 13/11/06
'DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!'
Strengths:
Tastes great and mixes well. Makes the most of recent science to combine carbs and protein in a recovery drink. I use it in the weeks I increase mileage to help my body cope.
Weaknesses:
Recommended dose is a lot to drink, good job it is so tasty.
Overall:
A product that gets you through a monster week and takes care of you. I love it.

'A CURE FOR "THE WALL"'
Strengths:
Slips down easily and helps to maintain performance during prolonged hard effort. Tested during a marathon. The chocolate flavour is delicious!
Weaknesses:
Need to buy on the internet - best direct from High5.
Overall:
Most gels have induced vomit but this one actually works. High5 products are a revelation to me!
